I grew up in Arlington, Texas. I have loved racing. My first time watching motorsports was watching Jeff Gordon on the TV when I was 4. I also first stepped into a go kart when I was 4 at the local Putt Putt.
My father took me to Putt Putt as a form of payment for scoring the game winning goal in my soccer league at the time. But something sparked. When hopping into a machine like that for the first time. My dad said, "He cried when the race finished, not because he was scared, but yet he wanted to keep going."
That moment at Putt Putt wasn't just a fun afternoon — it was the beginning of everything. From that day forward, racing wasn't just something I watched on TV. It was something I felt in my bones. Every chance I got, I'd find a way back to those karts, chasing that feeling of speed and freedom that nothing else could match.
